The PS5 recorded another good week of sales in Japan, selling 2.5 million since launch

When you group the two families of systems together (PS5 disc version + digital edition and Nintendo Switch OLED + standard Switch + Switch Lite), Sony sold a total of 88,833 units while Nintendo distributed 48,896 Switch systems. Speaking of games, Hogwarts Legacy once again topped the charts with 36,958 copies sold. New titles in the top 10 include Wild Hearts and Tales of Symphonia Remastered, which come in second and eighth respectively when Sony consoles are taken into account. The Bandai Namco remaster sold best in Japan on the Nintendo Switch.
