In January, we’ll follow the journey of New Yorker Frey, who finds himself transported to the magical land of Athea in Farspoken.
The game is an action RPG that will have you traversing sprawling landscapes, battling monstrous creatures and defeating powerful monsters using magical abilities. It is said to be designed to “utilize the full power of the PlayStation 5’s hardware” and has a score by God of War composer Bear McCreary. One to keep an eye on, then.
2008 sci-fi survival horror Dead Space returns with an all-new, remastered version heading to PS5 this month.
We’re sure those of you who played it back in the day on PS3 will remember everything it had to offer, but here’s a recap for anyone who missed it:
Isaac Clarke is an everyman engineer on a mission to repair the USG Ishimura, a giant planet cracker-class ship, only to discover that something has gone terribly wrong. The ship’s crew is killed and Isaac’s beloved companion, Nicole, is lost somewhere on board.
Now alone and armed only with his engineering tools and skills, Isaac races to uncover the terrifying mystery of what happened atop the Ishimura in hopes of finding Nicole. Trapped with hostile creatures called Necromorphs, Isaac faces a battle for survival, not only against the growing terror of the ship, but against his own crumbling sanity.
Hogwarts Legacy finally arrives on PS5 on February 10th – remember that the PS4 version is launching a bit later in April.
This “immersive, open-world” action RPG will let you experience Hogwarts in the 1800s and other realms of the magical world of Harry Potter. You’ll be traveling to familiar and new locations as you explore and discover magical beasts, customize your character and craft potions, master spell casting, upgrade your talents and more, and it sounds like That it could be a real winner.

PSVR 2 – February 22
It’s almost time for the second generation of Sony’s VR technology to launch worldwide, with the PlayStation VR2 on February 22.
If you don’t know about this shiny new VR headset yet, be sure to learn all about it in our dedicated guide. Pre-orders for the system are now live, currently exclusive to PlayStation Direct.
More than 20 titles will launch alongside PSVR2 on February 22 (you can see the full list here ), but the standout for many will be Horizon Call of the Mountain.
This brand new adventure set in the world of Horizon will give us our first real taste of the visuals made possible with PSVR2, as well as the new features available thanks to Tech’s new PSVR2 Sense controllers.
