Upcoming PS5, PS4 games for November and December 2022
We’re gearing up for a very exciting end to the year with tons of great games on PlayStation 5 and PS4 over the next few months. Below, we’ve been busy putting together our usual list of games heading to both systems in November and December.
You’ll find some of our hand-picked highlights, plus a huge selection of physical games that will be available over the next few weeks – December 2 looks especially fun. Enjoy!

On November 8, Sega’s famous blue blur takes off in a new direction in Sonic Frontiers.
Promising “high-speed, open-zone platforming freedom”, Frontiers sees Sonic stranded on an ancient island along five islands and defeating powerful enemies. Initial reaction to the game was tepid to say the least, but recent hands-on impressions have been considerably more positive, suggesting it might be worth checking out after all.
God of War Ragnarok is now so close that we can almost swing our much-satisfied ax at it, and the boy Are we excited?
The sequel to 2018’s epic God of War, Ragnarok continues the journey of Kratos and Atreus as they travel through each of the nine realms, hoping to find answers as the Asgardian forces prepare for a predicted battle that will end the world. will give Expect stunning landscapes, epic battles and more great storytelling when it arrives on November 9. By kicking a pack On December 2nd this year we have Marvel’s Midnight Sun, a new strategic RPG set in the dark side of the Marvel Universe. You’ll team up with the Midnight Sons – Ghost Rider, Magic, Blade and Nico Minoru – as you battle the demonic forces of the Underworld to stop the Ghost Mother Lilith from resurrecting her master Chthon.

Next up and also launching on December 2nd is Need for Speed Unbound, the latest entry in Criterion’s racing franchise.
Promising “hours of electric, adrenaline-pumping racing action,” Unbound will boast distinct single-player and multiplayer campaigns, weekly qualifiers, custom riders that can be fine-tuned, and a fresh soundtrack. You’ll be starting at the bottom and racing to the top in this latest Need for Speed, and we can’t wait to see it when it arrives on December 2nd.
Did we mention that December 2nd was busy? Blimey
Callisto Protocols is a narrative-driven, third-person survival horror set 300 years in the future, where players take on the role of Jacob Lee – a victim destined to be thrown into the Black Iron Prison, a moon of Jupiter. A maximum-security prison located at , Callisto. We’re told to expect a “unique blend of shooting and close combat” in it… We’ll let the PR set the scene:
When the inmates begin to transform into monstrous creatures, the prison is thrown into chaos. To survive, Jacob must fight his way to safety to escape the Black Iron Prison, while uncovering the dark and disturbing secrets that lie beneath Callisto’s surface.
