What are you playing this weekend? – Issue 470
Do you know what a beautiful blessing is? April Fool’s Day on Saturday! Usually, it is a time of panic in between push square team, but we’ll be kicking our feet today, avoiding the problems that usually occur when we play a few games.

With Burning Shores a few weeks away, I thought it was about time I got on with Horizon Forbidden West, which I still haven’t finished! But 20 hours or so later, I’m still thoroughly enjoying my time with this PlayStation, and with each session I’m amazed at how amazing it looks in 4K HDR.

You can currently save 50% off the PS4 Andro Dunos II in the Of the PS Store Spring sale, and this 2022 retro modern sequel to the 1992 side-scrolling Neo Geo shoot-’em-up is a great example of an authentic feel.

I’ve made it to the Castle in Resident Evil 4, so finishing that is a top priority. Looks like the summer heat has finally broken in Australia, so I might as well venture outside (gasp)?!

After finishing one great game (like a Dragon: Isshin!), I immediately moved on to another: Octopath Traveler II. I’m only five hours in, but the game feels special so far.

I’m now a good way into Trails of Cold Steel III, and I’m loving it all over again. It’s honestly better than ever since Trails to Azure, because the game puts so much more weight on the surrounding story. I think Falcom has the mindset to create such an interconnected series, but it’s hard not to appreciate the effort.

After wrapping up The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners last weekend, this will be another weekend. PSVR2 for me. I’ve read Moss, Moss: Book II, and Before Your Eyes, I’ve heard the latter is a real tearjerker.

I’ll be spending most of the weekend checking out Meet Your Maker, which is launching PS Plus essential next week. I’ll share some impressions again, along with a full review, once I’ve had a chance to play with a larger number of players.
