Iron Tails tells the story of Redgi, a rat prince trying to reclaim his lost kingdom from the imperial ambitions of the Reptile Toads. The animated trailer below sets the scene perfectly and is narrated by the brilliant Doug Cockle, perhaps best known for his role as Geralt in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Gameplay is a weighty affair, requiring nerves of steel as you’ll need to commit to each action in the style of 2D Soulslikes such as Salt & Century and Hollow Knight. Redgi is able to equip different armor sets and weapon types to meet the odds, taking a strategic, methodical approach to combat.
