Overwatch 2 has been out in the wild for a while now, and to say things have been rocky would be an understatement. From massive DDoS attacks to the removal of aim-support on consoles, the latest issue saw Mei, the Queen of Frost, temporarily pulled from the game, allowing players to exit the map with her Ice Wall ability. went He was expected to return in tomorrow’s mid-season patch after an absence of several weeks, but Blizzard delayed the update at the last minute, citing a “critical issue”.

Thankfully, the delay won’t be too long, with the Blizzard community manager indicating that the mid-season update is now set to go live on November 17th at 11am PST, provided nothing else goes wrong. Heroes like Zarya and Sombra are getting changes, with ability cooldowns being tweaked in response to fan feedback.

Despite all this, Overwatch 2 has seen many players jump into the competitive hero shooter, which is now free-to-play. A new hero, Rammatra, is coming to the game on December 6.
