Mumbai: This year’s Oscars (95th Academy Awards) are off to a great start. Apart from Hollywood stars, many Bollywood stars have also reached this award ceremony which is held in Los Angeles. These stars are either performing at the Oscars or have been nominated for an award in any category. Along with RRR’s Naatu Naatu and Shaunak Sen’s documentary That Breathes, Kartiki Gonsalves and Guneet Monga’s “The Elephant Whispers” were nominated for Best Documentary Short. While ‘Chello Show’ is a Gujarati film, which was shortlisted in India for the Best International Feature Film category at the 95th Academy Awards. But he couldn’t make it to the Oscars.
Jimmy Kimmel, who anchored the Oscars in 2017 and 2019, is also hosting the 95th Academy Awards. Meanwhile, singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaal Bhairav will give a live performance on Natu-Natu. Additionally, Rihanna will perform her single “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on stage at the Oscars. David Byrne, Son Lux and actress Stephanie Hsu will perform “This Is a Life” from Everything Everywhere All at Once.
A24’s multiversal film Everywhere Everywhere All at Once received 11 nominations including Best Picture, Best Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Best Supporting Actor (Ke Hue Quan) and Best Supporting Actress. role (Jamie Lee).
