Prince Harry Soon Returning To London… And Kate And William Are Not Planning To Meet Him

Prince Harry is set to return to the UK in the coming days, but it appears that a reunion with his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton is not on the agenda.

A Family Apart

As the Duke of Sussex prepares for his trip back home on May 8th to mark the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games at St. Paul’s Cathedral, reported by The Mirror, the atmosphere among the royals seems tense. Notably, Meghan Markle’s attendance at the event remains unconfirmed, adding to the layers of speculation about the family dynamics.

Sources close to the family told Ok! Magazine that there are currently no plans for William and Kate to meet with Harry during his visit. This decision comes at a time when the Duchess of Cambridge is publicly battling cancer and has begun preventative chemotherapy, a situation that demands much of their energy and focus.

Focusing on Health and Recovery

A source elaborated to OK! Magazine that William and Kate are “very consciously focusing on positivity and recovery.” They added that “Harry is due to arrive in London early next month, but there are no plans for them to meet during his stay.” Harry has reached out and sent his best wishes to Kate, but a meeting between them may be “a bit premature.”

Security Concerns Loom Large

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently expressed their hopes for Kate’s health and privacy in a statement, wishing her “health and healing” and hoping that it could be achieved “in private and in peace.”

Security concerns are also a significant issue for Harry’s family regarding their travel to the UK. According to royal expert Jennie Bonds, it’s wise for Meghan Markle to consider skipping this trip. Bonds speculated on the potential complications her presence could bring, especially with ongoing family tensions and security worries. “I don’t think her presence would facilitate reconciliation efforts. I think she would, rightly, be nervous about the reception she might receive from any public gathered outside the cathedral,” Bonds stated.

As the royal family navigates this complex period, it’s clear that while the public interest remains high, the private struggles and concerns within the family dictate their actions more than ever.
