Norway will hand over M270 missile systems to Ukraine

Norway together with Great Britain will hand over M270 multiple rocket launchers to Ukraine.

This was reported by the Norwegian Ministry of Defense.

“We must continue our support for Ukraine so that they can continue their struggle for freedom and independence.”said Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram.

According to him, Ukraine will receive three installations from Norway, which are in storage. However, the equipment needs to be modernized. Therefore, Norway agreed with the United Kingdom to upgrade them there for further shipment.

In addition, the government decided to hand over five thousand grenades to Ukraine.

“It is necessary to provide Ukraine with ammunition for the already supplied weapons systems,” says Gram.
