Shaheen Afridi played brilliantly in the last T20 World Cup. He took the wickets of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. The Indian team lost the match by 10 wickets. He also failed to reach the semi-finals.

Four to six weeks of rest advice

The Pakistan Cricket Board said he was scanned by the Medical Advisory Committee and experts. After which he was advised to rest for four to six weeks.
