Defendant Sunita said, “There was no money to meet household expenses. There was even no more money to bring the children’s clothes, school supplies, household items. All these things were known to my husband. the cost of it, so why did I create it. This is why I killed my children and I have no regrets about it.
The woman said – I have no regrets for killing children. There was a lack of money in the house.
“Dewar was fighting with me at home”
Sunita added, “My brother-in-law also used to fight with me at home. My husband Baleshwar Yadav works in a factory in Gurugram. He used to earn 10,000 rupees there. Devar has a grocery store in the village itself. That also helps a bit. But it didn’t do any good. If there are four children in the house, then the expenses will be the same.
“I felt bad when the children asked for money”
Sunita narrated, “Before Rakshabandhan, I had gone to my maternal house Revatipur. There I asked my husband for Rs 5000 for the children. He started fighting with me on the phone after asking for money I also talked to my brother-in-law. I was very angry about it. When the children asked for money to buy something, it was very sad. On August 15, my children insisted on having clothes.
After the death of the children, the father is in a bad state. He says he doesn’t even want to see Sunita.
“Bought a tablet of sulfa for 20 rupees”
Sunita said, “When I refused him, he left angry with me. That’s when I thought it was better for such a life that my children would die. I left home with 20 rupees. I bought sulfa tablets from a nearby store. . In the house. I came to make tea for the children. Then I put a pill in it. After that I called my children who were playing outside the house. Then I talked to them a bit.
I asked all three to have tea. They drank tea in front of me. After a while, my children started crying in front of me. I looked at them but I couldn’t do anything. When my parents saw the children like that, they took them to the hospital. One by one, my three children died. My youngest son was in the house next door, otherwise he would have poisoned him too.”
The villagers said that Sunita was also fighting with the village people.
“Always used to refer to giving poison”
Baleshwar Yadav, the accused’s husband, arrived in his village on Tuesday. He is shocked to hear the news of the children’s death. Baleshwar cried and said, “Sunita always used to tell children to give poison. I didn’t know that this time she would really give it. If she had known, she would have given him money by begging. She killed my children.”

The two got married 14 years ago
The villagers said: “Sunita and Baleshwar got married 14 years ago. Sunita resided at Revatipur Police Station, Sait Dam. Both had four children. The wife had sons Himanshu (11 years old), Priyanshu (8 years old) and a daughter Supriya (7 years old).He was poisoned on Monday afternoon.His youngest son Sheru had gone to play in the house next door, otherwise he would have poisoned him too.The three children were studying together at school communal.
The village people also said that Sunita was a very quarrelsome woman. She was always fighting with her husband. She didn’t even get along with her brother-in-law.”
All three children died during treatment
