The mayor took the tricolor trip in the Yamuna River: Sat with councilors in the boat, hoisted the tricolor, said – there is no longer a place in the city where independence is not celebrated

The mayor celebrated independence by throwing down the tricolor yatra in the Yamuna River.

Under the leadership of Mayor Naveen Jain, a tricolor yatra was taken on a boat in the Yamuna River as part of the Amrit Independence Festival. The mayor and councilors raised the tricolor in the middle of the Yamuna River. A crowd of people gathered at Balkeshwar Ghat to view the tricolor yatra. People also waved patriotic slogans while celebrating the country’s independence.

Alongside the mayor, the councilors also participated in the tricolor yatra.

Under the leadership of Mayor Naveen Jain, a large number of workers, elected officials and locals came to participate in the tricolor yatra under the Amrit Mahotsav of independence. The boat was decorated in the form of a tricolor flag. Mayor Naveen Jain boarded the boat with the tricolor in hand. He was accompanied by advisers and workers. People reached the middle of the Yamuna River by boarding many boats at Yamuna. The mayor waved the tricolor in the middle of the Yamuna and gave a message to everyone to put the tricolor in the houses. Mayor Naveen Jain said that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the whole city is celebrating independence with much ado and noise.

Yatra tricolor released everywhere

Tiranga Yatra is released in different forms in all the streets and alleys of the city. In this sequence, we had made preparations to release a unique three-color yatra. Because our city of Agra, located on the banks of the Yamuna River, is also a lifeline for us and the city. Therefore, with the resolution to keep the Yamuna River clean and unbroken, and with the aim of conveying this resolution to the citizens, this tricolor trip was made in the Yamuna River. By taking this tricolor yatra out into the Yamuna River, it served to send a message that there is no longer such an area in the city of Agra where we do not celebrate the independence of the country.
