Yogi Government to Form Ecotourism Board in UP, Kukrail to Move to Lucknow Zoo, Night Safari to Start
A total of 18 proposals were approved at the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday. These include the formation of the UP Eco-tourism Board, the transfer of Lucknow Zoo to Kukrail and the proposal to launch Night Safari. A night safari will take place in the Kukrail forest area. There is a forest of 2027 hectares. A zoological park will be built on 150 hectares. The night safari will be built on 350 acres.
The decision to appoint a consultant was also taken by the Council of Ministers. It was decided that 6 positions would be created. An Advisory Committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the Secretary General and a Working Steering Committee under the chairmanship of the Additional Secretary General Forest.

In coordination with 10 departments, it was decided to set up a council for the development of ecological tourism in the state. The UP Eco Tourism Board will consist of 10 departments, including tourism, forest, irrigation, horticulture, water, agriculture, rural, AYUSH, urban development and transport. Its president will be the chief minister of the state while the ministers of the relevant departments will be its members. The secretary general will be the secretary. The IRCTC and five experts will also be members.
Apart from this, the decision to transform Food Craft Institute in Aligarh into Hotel Management Institute was also taken at the meeting. 17 new courses will start. Approval was also given at the meeting to donate land for the establishment of a fire station at Rampur. Apart from this, it was decided at the meeting that Rajya Vidyut Nigam Utpadan Limited, Jawahar Vidyut Nigam Utpadan Limited and Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited would be merged. The decision to constitute Mandhata Nagar Panchayat in Pratapgarh was also taken at the meeting. Jaunpur Municipality was extended to Mungra Badshahpur.

There are now 752 municipal agencies in the state. In which there are 536 Nagar Panchayats, 199 Nagar Palikas and 17 Municipal Corporations. Along with this, changes were made to the defense and aeronautics policy of the Ministry of Industrial Development. In Bundelkhand 15% or 15 crore, in other areas 10% or 10 crore, in MSMEs 5-7.5% or 5-7.5% crore were donated. Now, in countries other than Bundelkhand, a grant of up to 7% or 500 crore and in Bundelkhand 10% or up to 500 crore will be available.
