America: 6.4 magnitude earthquake in California, power outage in 70,000 homes, panic among the population

The powerful earthquake was very strong on the northern coast of California, causing more damage there. According to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, at least 11 people were injured, while 2 others died. According to a Reuters report, the earthquake occurred near Ferndale, a rural area in northern California. Which is about 345 km northwest of San Francisco and close to the Pacific coast.

Due to this earthquake on Tuesday, heavy damage was caused to houses, roads, electricity and water installations. Thousands of people have been forced to live without electricity. About 79,000 homes in Ferndale and surrounding Humboldt County were without power immediately after the quake, according to the power grid tracking website PowerOutage.us. Roads and homes in surrounding Humboldt County were badly damaged.
