Washington. Lawyers for US President Joe Biden have found more classified documents than previously disclosed at his home in Wilmington, Delaware. The White House gave this information on Saturday. White House attorney Richard Sauber said in a statement that a total of six pages of classified documents were found during a search of Biden’s private library. The White House previously said only one page was recovered from there.
Apart from that, documents were also found in Biden’s garage in December and in his former “Pen Biden Center” office in Washington in November during his tenure as vice president. White House attorney Richard Sauber said in a statement Saturday that Biden’s personal attorneys stopped the search after finding a page Wednesday night due to a lack of security clearance.
Richard Sauber received the rest of the material on Thursday while accompanied by Justice Department officials. He said the department officials accompanying him seized the documents “immediately”.
political storm in america
Classified documents obtained by Biden aides are likely from 2009 to 2016 during his vice presidency. The White House press secretary said, “He (the president) doesn’t know what’s in the documents.” These documents were sent to the archives of the Ministry of Justice immediately upon their receipt here. Biden’s receipt of the confidential documents, believed to date from the time of the Obama administration, created a political storm in the country and is being compared to Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump.
