Melbourne. Hindu temples located in Australia are constantly targeted. A Hindu temple has been vandalized for the third time this month in the city of Melbourne, Australia. This time the attack was made on the ISKCON temple located in Albert Park, Melbourne. Murals inside the ISKCON temple have been defaced with anti-Indian slogans. In addition to vandalizing the temple on Monday morning, anti-Indian slogans were written on its wall and “Khalistan Zindabad” slogans were also brandished.

According to The Australia Today report, another Hindu temple has been vandalized in Australia, allegedly by Khalistan supporters. Slogans containing hateful words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi were written on the wall of the temple. What is surprising is that in the past two weeks this is the third incident targeting Hindu temples in Australia. Hindu temples are constantly targeted. Anti-Indian slogans like ‘Hindustan Murdabad’, ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ were hoisted on the walls of the temple.

Not only that, Khalistan supporters have also written praises to Bhindranwala, a terrorist responsible for killing over 20,000 Hindus and Sikhs. Khalistan supporters called Bhindranwala a “martyr”. If we look at such incidents, previously also such slogans were written on the walls of temples.

According to an article in The Australia Today, the wall of the ISKCON temple, a famous center of the Bhakti Yoga movement, has been defaced with “Khalistan Zindabad” graffiti in Melbourne.

It was said in the report that the temple authorities expressed surprise and displeasure at the vandalism and damage to the shrine. An emergency meeting was held two days ago with the Victorian Multicultural Commission regarding the incidents of frequent attacks. After this vandalism was reintroduced by multi-denominational Victorian rulers. On January 12, the Swaminarayan Temple in Melbourne was vandalized with similar anti-Indian slogans. But after 5 days when devotees reached Carrom Downs to celebrate the Pongal festival, the Shri Shiv Vishnu temple was found disfigured.
