Australia: Sydney ready to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, thousands of overseas Indians are waiting

There is great excitement among overseas Indians about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Australia and preparations for the grand welcoming ceremony in Sydney have been completed. Thousands of people have also registered to join PM Modi’s congratulatory ceremony programme. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Sydney, Australia on the final leg of his three-country tour. During this tour, PM Modi will participate in many programs including bilateral meetings and business meetings with his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese.

In this regard, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said that I look forward to welcoming him to Sydney. We will have a bilateral meeting between the two countries. Here, PM Modi will be given a big welcome by other organizations including the Sydney Marathi Society, while more than 300 migrant organizations from different social, cultural, linguistic, business, professional and religious backgrounds have registered for the welcoming ceremony. Various cultural and colorful presentations of song, dance and music illustrating the rich cultural heritage of India will take place in this program.
