Washington. Describing India as a “strong” partner for America, US President Joe Biden said on Friday he looked forward to supporting his friend Prime Minister Narendra Modi during India’s G-20 presidency. The term of India’s G-20 Presidency officially began on Thursday.
Biden said on Friday, “India is a strong partner for America, and I look forward to supporting my friend Prime Minister Modi during India’s G-20 Presidency.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that India inspired by the theme “One Earth, One Family, One Future”, he will work to promote unity. India will list terror, climate change, pandemic as the biggest challenges. Together they can be fought better.
India’s agenda will be inclusive and ambitious – PM Modi
The Prime Minister said in the article that India’s G-20 agenda will be inclusive, ambitious, action-oriented and decisive. The US president also stressed that the two countries would “advance common challenges such as the climate, energy and food crises to advance sustainable and inclusive growth”. The next G-20 leaders’ summit at the Heads of State level will be held in Delhi on September 9-10.
