bali. At an Indian community event in Bali, Indonesia on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said ties between India and Indonesia have remained strong through good times and difficult times. Prime Minister Modi also mentioned the severe earthquake in Indonesia in 2018 and said that we immediately launched Operation Samudra Maitri.

He said: “After coming to Indonesia, to Bali, every Indian has a different feeling, a different feeling. I also feel the same vibration. One and a half thousand kilometers from Bali, the festival of “Bali Jatra” is celebrated on the banks of Mahanadi in the city of Cuttack in India. This festival is a celebration of thousands of years of trade relations between India and Indonesia.

Prime Minister Modi said in Bali, “Indian talent, Indian technology, Indian innovation and Indian industry have made their mark in today’s world.” The big difference between India before 2014 and after 2014 is speed and scale. Today, India is working at unprecedented speed, on an unprecedented scale.

Prime Minister Modi told the Indian community: “We often say in conversation – the world is very small”. If you look at India-Indonesia relations, it fits perfectly. The giant ocean waves have kept India-Indonesia relations as exuberant and vibrant as the waves. India is praised for its affinity, but there is no less affinity among the Indonesian people. The last time I came to Jakarta, I felt the affection and love of the Indonesian people.

Prime Minister Modi, who visited Bali for the G20 summit, told the Indian community: “Today, in the 21st century, the world has expectations of India, the India also sees them as her responsibility.” Today, when India prepares the Amritkal roadmap for its development, it also incorporates the economic political aspirations of the world.

He said, “Today when India presents the vision of a self-reliant India, the spirit of global good is also included. Today, when the whole world is attracted by ecological and holistic health care, Indian yoga and Ayurveda are a gift for all humanity. We have seen it during the Corona period, India has achieved self-reliance for essential resources ranging from drugs to vaccines and the whole world has benefited.
