Photos showed suspect Sabag Montiel and his girlfriend, Brenda Uilliarte, posing with the Bursa handgun used in the attack.

Know the whole story
In fact, on September 1, Kirchner’s Argentine vice president was unsuccessfully attacked while meeting supporters outside her home. A gunman who led the attack attempted to attack Kirchner, but the vice president narrowly escaped when the gun jammed. Investigation revealed that five bullets were present in the gun’s magazine, but the chamber was empty so the bullet could not be fired. Officials say the suspect’s DNA was found on the gun’s trigger, slide and grip, which will prove important in bringing the accused to justice.

At the same time, 100 “9mm” bullets were recovered during the raid on the assailant’s home. Police also recovered a 35 cm (14 in) long knife from the home of a defendant with a criminal record.
