New Delhi. Elon Musk, the world’s second richest industrialist and owner of Tesla, plans to create his own city. This was revealed in a Wall Street Journal report. Elon Musk and organizations associated with his company are acquiring thousands of acres of land in Texas to create a town where employees of Musk’s company will live and work. These properties were purchased on at least 3,500 acres near Austin. It was said in the report that Elon Musk is creating a town named Snellbrook.

The area where Musk will be settling in the city is near the Boring and Space-X factories under construction. This place is on the banks of the Colorado River in Texas. Employees of Musk’s companies will live here and can go to work in nearby factories. According to the report, the plan is to build 100 houses where a swimming pool and an open play area will be built nearby.

Earlier in 2020, Elon Musk announced that he would move Tesla’s headquarters and home from California to Texas. Tesla will open a new Gigafactory manufacturing facility in Austin in 2022, while SpaceX and The Boring Company also have facilities in Texas.

Musk’s plan is to provide cheap houses for his employees. Musk is said to want to provide a one or two bedroom house at an initial price of around 65,000 rupees per month. For this, there is also a rule that if the employees of the company leave their jobs or there is a dismissal, they must leave the house within 30 days.
