How Russia’s nuclear attack, there is a plan to kill 42 lakh people in Ukraine?

Strong points

Russia has the highest number of 5977 nuclear bombs in its military bases.
Of these warheads alone, there are more than 1100 intercontinental ballistic missiles.
With Kyiv, Russia can also target Kharkiv

MoscowSeven months have passed since the war between Ukraine and Russia, but so far neither side seems ready to accept defeat. The second most powerful Russian army in the world emphasizes strategic warfare these days. Ukraine also seems determined to liberate its territories after the decision to include them in Russia by organizing a referendum in the occupied territories. In such a situation, in the midst of the ongoing struggle on both sides, President Vladimir Putin worried the world by threatening nuclear attack. During his televised address, the Russian leader clarified that if Ukraine attacks the occupied territories, he will not even pay for a nuclear attack. If Russia, which has a huge shipment of nuclear bombs in its fleet, really started a nuclear war, how could that affect the world?

What would a Russian nuclear attack look like?
Analysts say Moscow could potentially deploy one or more tactical or battlefield nuclear warheads. Tactical nuclear weapons are small weapons, with an explosive yield of 0.3 kilotons to 100 kilotons. For comparison, the atomic bomb dropped by the United States on Hiroshima, Japan in 1945 was only 15 kilotons. One lakh 35,000 people were killed in this attack, while even today people are plagued with many serious diseases. In such a situation, if Russia carries out a nuclear attack 6 times more powerful than the Hiroshima nuclear attack, then Ukraine can be destroyed in one fell swoop. Instead of tactical weapons, strategic nuclear weapons can prove to be more destructive, which will certainly impact the entire world. However, the chances of Russia carrying out a strategic nuclear attack in the Ukraine war are negligible.

What would Russia expect from a nuclear attack?
According to American experts, the purpose of using a tactical nuclear bomb could be to force Ukraine to surrender or to persuade it to negotiate. Russia can divide the Western bloc into two parts by carrying out a nuclear attack, so that the countries of Europe stop supporting America, fearing nuclear attacks. Mark Cancian, a military expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, clarified on Russia’s prospects of carrying out a nuclear attack that nothing would be achieved by a single nuclear strike in Ukraine. Just as the United States forced Japan to surrender with nuclear attacks on two cities, Russia would also like to change the results with its attacks. Russia does not want much loss of life and property in its attacks, but it will certainly want to force Ukraine to surrender with a tactical nuclear attack.

For this, Putin can persuade Zelensky to negotiate by detonating an atomic bomb over water or a massive explosion over Ukraine. According to former White House nuclear policy expert John Wolfstall, by doing so, Russia can break the global consensus against NATO and Putin.

Russia has the ability to destroy the world
According to a United Nations report, a total of 12,700 nuclear warheads are present with seven countries around the world. Two of these countries, the United States and Russia, retain more than 90% of their atomic bombs. Russia has the highest number of 5977 nuclear bombs in its military bases across the world. With the help of so many atomic bombs, Putin can destroy the earth hundreds of times. According to the Federation of American Scientists, of these warheads alone, there are more than 1,100 intercontinental ballistic missiles that can be sent to all corners of the world from Russia. Moreover, Ukraine can see one nuclear attack after another from the sea. The Russian Navy has equipped its fleet with 800 ballistic missiles to carry out nuclear strikes from submarines.

how many people can be killed
If we assume that Russia plans to carry out two nuclear attacks like Hiroshima and Nagasaki, then it can target two of the most important cities in Ukraine. Besides the capital of Ukraine, Russia can also target Kharkiv. The total population of the two cities is over 42 lakhs, so if Russia drops its tactical weapon on these two cities, there may be a disaster. According to one estimate, the population of the two cities could be vulnerable to these attacks. However, Russia can already convince Ukraine to surrender by showing a threat to the huge population of 42 million.
