San Francisco. The United States strongly condemned the attack by Khalistan supporters on the Indian consulate in San Francisco on Monday. America (USA) has made it clear that such antics cannot be tolerated at all. On Monday, some Khalistan supporters attacked the Indian Consulate in San Francisco in protest against police action against Chief Waris Punjab De Amritpal Singh. Waving Khalistan slogans, protesters broke through a temporary security fence erected by city police and set up two suspected Khalistan flags inside the consulate premises.

The demonstrators vandalized the doors and windows of the consulate premises with iron bars. The disbelievers are also said to have written “Free Amritpal” on the walls of the Indian consulate. John Kirby, National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications at the White House, said “this vandalism is absolutely unacceptable.” The State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service works with local authorities. I can’t speak for the San Francisco Police Department, but I can say that the Diplomatic Security Service is working with local authorities to properly investigate this case. The State Department is working to repair the damage, but this is unacceptable.
