Washington: The news of indiscriminate shootings came to light in California, America. The shootings took place at gurdwaras located in Stockton, Sacramento and elsewhere. In this case, the police conducted their search operation in 20 locations in northern California and arrested 17 defendants. AK-47, machine gun and handcuffs were recovered from the miscreants. The state’s attorney general released the information on Monday.

According to the PTI report, most of the arrested miscreants were members of the local Sikh community, while two mafias were from India. The arrested men are part of a rival criminal gang and are believed to have been involved in several violent incidents and shootings, including five counts of attempted murder, in Sutter, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Yolo and Merced counties. Members of these groups were involved in the August 27 mass shooting at the Stockton gurdwara last year and the March 23, 2023 shooting at the Sacramento gurdwara. In the whole matter, Sutter County District Attorney General Jennifer Dupre said, “We need a lot of time and effort to investigate.”
