Citing Korea’s Central News Agency, AP reported that Kim also ordered his officials to manufacture a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of rapid strikes and retaliatory strikes. Along with this, at the ruling party meeting, Kim also talked about the spy satellite. Kim said North Korea would soon launch its first military spy satellite.
