The student was suspected because of the shoes he was wearing.
He needed the money so he did it.

New Delhi. An interesting case emerged from Kenya (Kenya News). Here a college boy wearing the burqa (Boy Wears Burqa) pretending to be a chess player competed in the Kenya Open Chess Championship in Nairobi. A huge prize of US$42,000 (about Rs 34 lakh) has been kept in this competition. In fact, the student was in dire need of money.

According to the SBS News report, 25-year-old Stanley Omondi, wearing glasses, managed to reach the fourth round of the competition without saying a word. Omondi had registered for the chess tournament as Millicent Awuor. Chess Kenya president Bernard Wanjala said that “initially we had no doubts because it is normal to wear a burqa here”.
