Prime Minister Modi will visit Al-Hakimi Mosque today and pay respects to soldiers at the war memorial
Cairo. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Cairo on Saturday for a two-day state visit to Egypt, is going to have a busy Sunday. He will first visit the Al Hakeem Mosque. After that, Prime Minister Modi will visit the Heliopolis War Memorial where he will pay homage to around 4000 Indian soldiers who died in World War I. Then, besides Prime Minister Modi’s bilateral talks with Egyptian President Al Fateh Al Sisi, there will be delegation-level talks between the two countries and several agreements will be signed. The two leaders will also issue a joint press release.
Prime Minister Modi visited the Egyptian capital Cairo on Saturday and held talks with his counterpart Mustafa Madbouli and key cabinet ministers to deepen business ties and further strengthen the strategic partnership between Egypt and Egypt. Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his visit on Saturday with talks with Egyptian Prime Minister Madbouly and key cabinet ministers to deepen business ties and further strengthen the strategic partnership. The Prime Minister also met with the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawki Ibrahim Abdel-Karim Allam, and spoke with the Diaspora and members of the Dawoodi Bohra community.
