Prime Minister welcomed in New York with Gujarati songs, Garba and Modi-Modi slogans

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in New York for a three-day visit to America. As a state guest, he is the third Prime Minister of India, who has been invited to America. People of Indian origin gave a grand welcome to the Prime Minister here. A large number of people had gathered in front of the New York airport. Some Modi were seen in a jacket and some had reached with the tricolor to catch a glimpse of PM Modi. Many videos are currently going viral on social media, in which people of Gujarati origin have been seen singing regional songs to welcome Prime Minister Modi. Not only Gujarati songs but people gathered near the airport also performed Garba dance there.

Besides raising slogans of Modi, Modi, these people also raised slogans of Gujarat and Bharat Mata ki Jai. A woman from Ludhiana, Punjab was also seen dancing to welcome Prime Minister Modi. Meanwhile, some people had reached New York airport from remote areas to catch a glimpse of Prime Minister Modi. One such person is Dr. Bhola Nath Rama, 69, a cardiologist who came here from Ohio with his wife Sunita Rama after a nine-hour drive.
