Putin announced the merger of 4 regions with Russia after the referendum, Ukraine raised questions



Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Russia’s “4 new regions” in a speech at the Kremlin on Friday. He only approached them from ‘4 new domains’. On Thursday, it was said in this regard that after the referendum, 4 regions of Ukraine controlled by Russia will be incorporated into Russia. However, Western governments and Ukraine condemned this decision. He raised questions about the referendum. Western countries and Ukraine said international law was broken and there was no proper representation in this vote.

President Vladimir Putin said Moscow’s military had held referendums in the partially seized Ukrainian territories of Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya. The people here supported Russia. In fact, the Russian army had already occupied these areas and it was announced taking steps to merge the part under its control with Russia. President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman said the Russian-controlled part was added to Russia, breaking the border with Ukraine.
