new York, Former US President Donald Trump’s lawyer (Trump Rape Case) on Monday asked to stay the rape case filed against his client and said the judge handling the civil case in federal court had a biased attitude towards Trump. Attorney Joe Tacopina told Judge Louis A. to stay the case, citing Caplan’s “grossly unfair and biased rulings.”

Columnist E. Jean Carroll filed a lawsuit against Trump in November under New York state law. Under this law, even in decades-old cases of sexual harassment, victims can bring charges against the accused.
