Russia is facing a severe ammunition shortage! Now America’s Nemesis Will Shop Domestically – Report

Washington: The Russian Defense Ministry is preparing to buy rockets and artillery shells from North Korea for the ongoing war in Ukraine. This was highlighted in a US intelligence report. A US official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said on Monday that Russia’s decision to isolate North Korea reflects the fact that the Russian military is facing a shortage of weapons supplies in Ukraine due to various export restrictions and sanctions.

US intelligence officials believe that Russia may also buy additional military hardware from North Korea in the future. The New York Times first published a news item based on this intelligence report. The US official gave no information on how many weapons Russia wants to buy from North Korea. The news comes at a time when US President Joe Biden’s administration confirmed in August that the Russian military had received drones from Iran for use in Ukraine.

North Korea has sought to strengthen its ties with Russia and accuses the United States of being responsible for the Ukrainian crisis. He defended Russia’s military action in Ukraine, saying Russia’s action against the West’s policy of hegemony was self-defense. North Korea has also expressed interest in sending workers to help rebuild Russian-held areas east of Ukraine. On February 26 this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared the two regions of Ukraine, Donetsk and Lugansk, independent.

North Korea’s ambassador to Russia recently met with envoys from two Russian-backed breakaway regions in Ukraine’s Donbass region and assured cooperation regarding the dispatch of workers. North Korea was the only country, apart from Russia and Syria, to recognize the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk in July and to support Russia in the war in Ukraine. Let us tell you that on February 24 of this year, Russia invaded Ukraine. It has been more than 6 months since the ongoing war between the two countries and there does not seem to be an agreement between the two countries on when it will end.
