Suspicious car-like object seen 40,000 feet high after Chinese intelligence balloon

Six days after the Chinese spy balloon, another such object was spotted in the sky

Washington: After the US plane shot down the Chinese spy balloon, the US fighter jet shot down another new object on Friday. This suspicious object (unidentified object) was flying above 40,000 feet in Alaska. Its size was smaller than the previous spy balloon. It was like a small car in appearance. However, it is not known what the purpose of this unknown object was.

According to the AFP news agency, the White House said a US fighter jet shot down an unidentified object over Alaska on Friday. Just six days after the fall of the Chinese spy balloon, another such object was spotted in the sky. He was shot on the orders of President Joe Biden. White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said the purpose or origin of the new object was unclear, but it was a threat to aviation civil. The object was much smaller than a giant Chinese balloon that flew over the United States last week, which was shot down on February 5 by a US fighter jet off the Atlantic coast.

Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Pat Ryder said an F-22 Raptor used an AIM-9X missile to shoot down the object. The same planes and ammunition were also used to target alleged Chinese spy balloons. US officials said such balloons had flown in more than 40 countries, including territories in the United States.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also canceled his proposed visit to China after the China spy balloon affair. President Joe Biden praised the fighter pilots involved in the operation. US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin described the operation as a “deliberate and lawful action”. At the same time, Beijing dismissed the US claims and said it entered US airspace by mistake.
