Trump trapped badly! Female victim testified in US court, told how ex-president touched her in robbery

New York: Former US President Donald Trump’s troubles are not diminishing. The issue of sexual harassment has become a headache for them. A woman testified in a civil trial in New York on Tuesday that Donald Trump sexually assaulted her during a robbery in the United States in the late 1970s. Jessica Leeds described the alleged assault as she was testifying in a rape and defamation lawsuit brought against the former president by author Jean Carroll. Trump has denied all allegations of sexual assault and said no action has ever been taken on such allegations.

Jessica Leeds told Manhattan federal court that Trump put his hand up her skirt in the business class section of a flight to New York in 1978 or 1979. Jessica Leeds first made the allegation in an interview with the New York Times a few weeks before the 2016 election. Several women accused Trump of sexual misconduct during the vote. Jessica Leeds went public with the allegation after Trump denied the sexual assault allegations during a presidential debate with Hillary Clinton.

Leeds was called to give evidence by Carroll’s lawyers in an attempt to persuade the jury that Trump had engaged in a pattern of sexual misconduct. Carroll, 79, accused Trump of sexually assaulting her in a dressing room at the luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman in Manhattan in the mid-1990s. At the same time, Trump has repeatedly denied such allegations.

Carroll filed his lawsuit late last year. The case is one of several legal challenges Trump faces as he seeks to return to the White House in next year’s election. Trump was also accused of secretly paying money to a porn star in 2016. However, as of last month he was not convicted in the case.
