Neskuchne in the Donetsk region again came under Ukrainian control. Earlier, the Ukrainian army said it had taken over a village near Blagodatne and released a video of soldiers hoisting the Ukrainian flag above a collapsed Ukrainian building. Along with this, the Ukrainian army also took over the village of Makarvika, northwest of Blagodatne.

About 77 towns and thousands of villages fell under the grip of this flood in Kherson. More than 1.5 lakh people do not even have drinking water.

The Kakhovka hydroelectric power station is located in the town of Nova Kakhovka in the Ukrainian province of Kherson, which is currently under Russian control. This dam was built in Soviet times.
