Speaking in Ukrainian at a conference in Davos, he said Ukraine’s goal was to liberate all of its territories. He said that Crimea has our land, our territory, our sea and our mountains. Give us your weapons and we’ll get our lands back. Meanwhile, he clarified that the helicopter crash near Kyiv was a tragic incident and not war-related. Interior Minister Denis Monastirski died in this accident along with several colleagues.

Sixteen people, including senior Interior Ministry officials and two children, were killed in a helicopter crash near the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. The police of Ukraine gave this information. Ukrainian National Police Chief Ihor Klymenko said the emergency services helicopter crashed in Brovary, an eastern suburb of Kyiv. Among those who lost their lives, nine people were on board the helicopter. According to police, Interior Minister Denis Monastirsky and Deputy Minister Kirylo Timoshenko died in the helicopter crash. Officials had earlier said 22 people, including 10 children, were injured. The helicopter crashed near ‘Kindergarten’.
