Boston: A major explosion occurred in the delivery package at Northeastern University in Boston, USA, during which one person was seriously injured. In fact, on Tuesday night in Boston, USA, a police bomb squad arrived on the campus of Northeastern University to investigate a suspicious package. An explosion was reported at the premises and at least one person was injured.

Boston police said they are investigating two suspicious packages left near the university’s Holmes Hall. Officials declined to give details, but WCVB-TV said one person was taken to hospital and fire and medical personnel were on the scene.

WBZ-AM radio quoted unidentified police as saying the person injured in the blast had minor injuries. According to the media, the police team arrived at eight o’clock in the evening after receiving information about the bomb in the university campus. Previously, the university management had evacuated the building of students who had gathered at Holmes Hall for evening classes. Northeastern University is a private university located in the city of Boston.
