US air system stalled, hundreds of flights affected, command system says – no fix yet

According to several reports, flights across the United States have been blocked indefinitely due to a technical problem in the computer system of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA System Outage). Due to which thousands of people are blocked. According to the latest information, flights are resuming in the United States, but after delaying more than 1000 flights due to computer problems, it may take some time for airports to return on time.

According to flight tracking company FlightAware, more than 1,100 flights to and from the United States have been delayed and more than 90 have been cancelled. At the same time, according to a report by The Express, the air traffic control system’s command center warned passengers to be prepared for long delays. Along with this, it has also been accepted by the ordering system that there is currently no workaround for this issue.

According to reports, flights from several airports, including Philadelphia, Tampa and Honolulu, are being delayed. Additionally, there are also delays at Ronald Reagan Washington Airport in Arlington, Virginia.

However, the FAA said in a tweet that it was working on restoring its “Notice to Air Mission System”. The FAA said, “We are performing final checks and reloading the system now.” It said: “Operations in the national airspace system are affected.”

The agency said it would continue to provide updated information.

According to a BBC report, airline American Air says the flaw affects all flights carrying passengers and cargo. Meanwhile, United Airlines says all domestic flights are being delayed until information is received from the FAA about it.
