Ankara. The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine (Russian-Ukrainian War) has increased the tension between the two countries so much that there has been a public brawl between their diplomatic representatives. A video has surfaced on social media in which a Ukrainian lawmaker, Oleksandr Marikovskyi, can be seen punching an unidentified Russian delegate during a conference in the Turkish capital, Ankara. This incident occurred when a Russian representative snatched the flag of his country from the hands of the Ukrainian deputy. Then the Ukrainian deputy, furious with anger, gave a good lesson to this Russian representative.
This alleged assault incident is said to have taken place during the 61st General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) on Thursday. Where countries of the Black Sea region met to discuss ways to develop multilateral and bilateral relations on economic, technological and social issues. A video clip of the incident posted to Twitter by Kyiv Post political consultant and special correspondent Jason J Smart had more than 3 million views as of Friday morning. Deputy Oleksandr Marikovsky also posted this clip on his Facebook account.
