Agra. President of Guyana, Dr. Mohammad Irfan Ali, who arrived in Agra to visit the Taj Mahal, couldn’t help but immerse himself in Indian culture and was so moved while listening to the rhythm of the drum that he started drumming himself. In fact, Ali had arrived in Agra on Wednesday to see the Taj Mahal. Arrangements have been made for its reception. Under this, Agra administration has also made provision for the drums. As soon as Ali stepped out at the east gate of the Taj Mahal in the evening, artists played bhangra rhythms on drums and drums to welcome him. Ali couldn’t help drumming to these beats.

In his welcome, when the President of Guyana saw the drums being played in the Indian style, he asked for a drum and hung it around his neck and drummed fervently. People were surprised to see this scene. He played the dhol so brilliantly and kept up with the beat that people there captured the whole scene in their cellphones and the video went viral on social media.

In fact, President Ali of a South African country is visiting India as part of the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan. If reports are to be believed, he is going to visit cities like Delhi, Kanpur, Mumbai, Indore, Bangalore during his visit from Jan 8-14. During this tour, Ali reached the Taj Mahal, took photos in the Taj complex and also observed the art of this world famous marble monument.
