Waiting to go to America…so get ready, this year more than 10 lakh Indians will get visa

Washington: There is good news for those who dream of going to America. A senior official said the United States was on track to issue more than a million visas to Indians this year. US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Donald Lu also told the Press Trust of India in an interview this week that he is also prioritizing work visas. This also includes H-1B and L visas, which are most sought after by IT professionals in India.

The H-1B visa is a nonimmigrant visa that allows U.S. businesses to employ foreign workers in specialized occupations. This requires theoretical or technical expertise. Tech companies depend on it to hire thousands of employees every year in countries like India and China. “We are on track to issue over a million visas this year,” Lu said. This is a record number for us.

Does China really take talks with India to resolve the border dispute seriously? Targeted America

There are growing concerns about long waiting times for new visa applicants to India, especially those applying under the B1 (business) and B2 (tourism) categories. India now ranks second in the world in terms of international students coming to the United States. “We will continue to make sure we prioritize visas for workers because it’s important to both the American and Indian economies,” Lu said. He said America’s relationship with India are very strong. America isn’t even close to India, but more than a million people still move back and forth between the two countries. It’s an incredible number. We know that over 100,000 Americans also live in India. This relationship is too much for the weight and benefit of both of us.
